Data Architect

To enable all this valuable work, there is a Data Platform & Architecture team within the tribe as well consisting out of data architects and cloud data engineers with a mission to build and maintain state of the art data services towards the company. As a Data Architect, you will design Telenet's future data & analytics landscape that align with our vision & strategy. Your mission will be to guide, connect and empower teams in their data decisions to drive our data product strategy. 

• Work on projects related to Big Data, Data Warehousing, ML Ops, AI engineering … 
• Create solution designs for example on new data integrations, data flows and integration with new (cloud) services. 
• Design solutions to extend our data-analytics platform products and services from secure storage to processing power, … that can bring efficiency and effectiveness towards the tribe.
• Guide data teams in reviewing their analysis and guarding standards & best practices.
• Take a leading role in innovations and support the landing of them in the various teams.

• Advanced technical knowledge on Cloud Services (AWS, Snowflake, …)
• Profound knowledge of data modelling approaches like Kimball, Inmon & Data Vault 
• Good knowledge of data management & architecture concepts (data warehousing, data lakehouse, data mesh, data governance, …)
• Conceptual knowledge of AI, ML & Reporting tools like Qlik
• Advanced SQL and basic python & GIT experience
• Conceptual knowledge Integration Technologies (API Mgmt., streaming, …) is a plus 
• Gets energized by our agile working method
• Is and remains eager to learn
• Has a bachelor or master's degree and 5 years of relevant experience
• Has good communication skills and builds bridges across our various teams and departments
• Speaks fluent English; Dutch is a plus
