What is a system administrator?

System administrators are in charge of the computer systems of an organisation. Their main responsibility is on making sure the servers, internal computers and other hardware are running smooth so the organisation can function and operate properly. They're also often in charge of security.

A good system administrator will need solid knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and cloud software systems (Office365, Google Apps, …). They also need to be relatable as issues are often caused by colleagues.
