What is a data scientist?
Data scientists capture, store, manipulate and partially analyse data within the organisation. Having broader responsibilities than a data analyst, they explore collecting data in new ways to answer complex questions and support data analysts in making valuable reports.
A data scientist helps the organisation in understanding which and how certain data can be collected, and how this data can help answer specific business questions.
A data scientist is commonly more senior than a data analyst. They might also have a more in-depth educational background, such as in Mathematics or Statistics.
