Test Lead

As a BPV Test Lead (Business Process Validation Test Lead), you will ensure that the initiatives and increments meet the required quality standards as defined by the BPV test approach in the delivery plan. In our organization, BPV testing represents the final validation step before BAT testing, ensuring that the increment (potentially delivered by multiple partners and integrators) provides the intended value and quality. It is your task to ensure the Quality Assurance (QA) Strategy is adopted, so Telenet meets the Quality standards in the expansion of IT solutions.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive BPV test strategy and BPV test plans for the specific initiatives and increments
• You define the test scope and objectives, based on changes and risk assessments, and prioritized accordingly, together with the initiative and increment owner
• You facilitate and coordinate to make sure that it is clear what the needs are for the delivery of the test plan like test data, test automation and test environment, etc…
• Assign tasks related to the test plan, set priorities and monitor progress
• Test results and bugs are managed in dashboards and discussed and assessed together with owners
• Reports on outliners which are not in line with the expected implementation QA strategy within the initiative
• Conduct regular status meetings together with the initiative and increment owner and provide updates to stakeholders
• You act as a coordinator, so you manage the relations with other stakeholders (Tribe & Cluster Leads, Product Owners, and partners) to understand their needs in relation to the test plan
• Highlight risks, issues, and recommendations to improve overall quality and escalate when required
• Guard and measure that the BPV test plan is executed up to expectation of the QA Strategy
• Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance testing processes
• Align and coordinate with external partners to coordinate their testing activities (test environments, test data, test planning)

• You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent due to experience, and a passion for testing
• Proven knowledge of testing methodologies
• You have a quality mindset
• You have proven experience with regression testing, test automation and test reporting
• You're not going for a status quo. You are ambitious and eager to learn
• You combine strong analytical skills with a creative and positive mind
• You have strong spoken and written communication skills and can collaborate between various teams and partners
• You speak fluent English; Dutch is a plus.
