Work on real-world AI in security operations

At Pronect we’re looking for motivated students who want hands-on experience contributing to the development of SAM AI – our intelligent security advisor, assisting both security teams in the field and at corporate level with real-time guidance and quality data at the speed of operations. You’ll work with our engineering team on practical features that go into production, with support and mentoring throughout.

What you’ll do

Depending on your skills and interests, you may work on:

• AI Engineering: Developing document pipelines, knowledge extraction and structuring, and designing context-aware systems with dynamic memory and agentic workflows.
• Backend development in .NET (C#) - building APIs, automating workflows and improving performance.
• Mobile app development in Flutter - helping build and refine our field-facing app.
• Front-end development - contributing to our Angular application or working with HTML/JavaScript for focused UI components.
• Integration work - connecting services, improving data flows, or assisting with testing. Small research or prototype tasks - exploring new ideas or technologies that support the platform.

You don’t need to cover all these areas - interest and willingness to learn are what matter.

What you bring

• Solid basic programming skills in one of: Python, .NET/C#, SQL, Angular/TypeScript, HTML/JavaScript, or Flutter/Dart.
• A structured way of working and attention to detail.
• Curiosity and the motivation to take ownership of small tasks.
• Clear, open communication, in English. Dutch/French not necessary.

Nice to have (not required):

• Exposure to agentic or AI development frameworks (e.g. LlamaIndex, LangChain, or comparable tooling from Microsoft or Google)
• Experience with Azure/.NET, REST APIs or mobile development.
• Familiarity with Git, simple CI/CD flows or basic testing.
