Role Overview

As an AI Engineer at TrackBox, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced AI algorithms to perform computer vision or time series analysis among other related tasks. This includes working on projects involving object detection, tracking, and tactical play recognition in sports environments. You will work on cutting-edge tasks such as graph optimization, setting up neural network architectures (Transformers, CNN, RNN, LLM), transforming camera footage into 3D models, optical tracking, and more. Beyond just development and implementation, you will also engage in extensive thinking and research to drive innovation. As a member of our small team, you will encounter diverse challenges and opportunities, contributing to the creation of scalable, high-performance, and robust software that delivers actionable data insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, develop and implement AI algorithms
  • Set up and optimize neural network architectures, including Transformers, CNNs, RNNs, and LLMs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI algorithms into our products
  • Optimize and maintain existing codebases
  • Conduct data analysis and preprocessing for model training
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and computer vision
  • Document and present your work to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Must-Have Competencies

  • Proficiency in Git
  • Strong expertise in Python (with Numpy and Pytorch)
  • Comprehensive understanding of data science concepts, including neural networks, classification, clustering, and embeddings
  • Experience with Docker

Nice-to-Have Competencies

  • Strong mathematical foundation
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Linux
  • Proficiency in C++
  • Familiarity with OpenCV or other image processing libraries
